While I support the efforts of analysts to point out how Islam is more than a mere "religion" as the modern West understands that term, I fear that most of them do not pay sufficient attention to the massive historico-cultural reasons for why Islam has been, in fact, defined by the West as a "religion". That has to be respected for all its complex reasons, before it is simplistically snubbed by some specious, albeit well-meaning, argument.Hesperadohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10394374828751466705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29566846.post-38118792505590039562011-01-09T00:40:29.983-08:002011-01-09T00:40:29.983-08:00Nobody,

I have been speaking out on the worldwide problem of Islamofascism across the net and on talk radio shows. I was formerly an administrator at JihadChat. Additionally, I am a content manager and writer for Right Side News and Infidels are Cool and have had several articles published on Ali Sina's popular Faith Freedom site. Most recently, I have contributed as a co-host and a co-producer of the Evil Conservative Radio Show, based out of NYC.

I don't doubt that he is holistic, but I do wonder why he used the term Islamofascist to describe the worldwide threat when he accurately identified the problem as Islam?
