2025⸻The Year of the Snake

 

Well, another year has rolled by. Time flies when your civilization is being subverted all around you.  What time is it?  Time for another anniversary posting—the anniversary being February 21.  

Under my belt here I have six previous anniversary postings, starting in 2020.  If you're interested, just take a scroll down memory lane.  For those readers (among my total readership of 7.5) who aren't up to speed on what exactly I'm doing here—and want to know—here's a useful introductory essay I wrote recently, over at substack, in anticipation of today:  Preparing for my annual posting.

Each anniversary posting has sort of had the feel of a rumination, looking back over the previous year, about some overarching theme—Islam, 2020 Election, Covid, Ukraine, Gaza, Cabal—with lots of overlapping and a rather impressionistic style. 

Only my last posting—dated February 21, 2025 (the one preceding this one)—alluded to the rise of anti-Semitism; but it did so rather fleetingly, in one brief paragraph.  This I think was appropriate, considering the phenomenon at that stage (during 2024) hadn't quite acquired a snowball effect.  It was like a crack in the force field of the prohibition on that thought crime, a force field that had been maintained for approximately 80 years, but a crack I never would have dreamed would widen as much as it eventually did.  

The following year, 2025—the subject of this posting here—manifested such an explosion of anti-Semitism, that as I sit back in my ergonomic chair to reflect on it all, it strikes me that 2025 was the year of an unprecedented revival of anti-Semitism.  Which leads to my posting title: Year of the Snake.  It could be construed either of two ways, depending on your view of anti-Semitism—the "Snake" could be anti-Semitism itself, or it could be the Jews whom anti-Semites oppose.  I consider myself a moderate anti-Semite, so that situates me in this regard.  Being moderate, however, I don't demonize all Jews; nor do I directly oppose Jews per se.  Mainly I oppose their culture.

To ask a wider question: How did this "Year of the Snake" happen in the first place?  What widened the crack in the force field so much, ordinary measures of duct-taping it or using epoxy sealant were no longer adequate?  I can't say I know the answer for sure, but I can use my noodle to give it the old college try.

The first factor to consider is that this 80-year suppression maintained by the Western Mainstream wasn't a static phenomenon; it was likely trembling with the pressure of resentment breeding increased paranoia, with that pressure increasing over time.  Like a pressure-cooker, the lid would have to blow at some point; it couldn't go on forever—even though the lid was kept on with impressive success.  And lest we rely too much on the metaphor, the "lid" in this case isn't a single mechanism to maintain suppression of the thought crime; it comprises a diverse palette of measures, including various forms of propaganda, subtle and not-so-subtle, deployed by the Mainstream's Communications Wing—news media, movies, TV, Internet, books, magazines, schools, academe—and, of course, the Mainstream's various governmental institutions, which in various ways, threaten to punish anti-Semitism (as in the USA, with its pesky First Amendment), or outright do punish it (as in various parts of the Rest of the West, such as some countries in Europe, the UK, Australia, Canada, etc.).   

More specifically, one seismic event that began the process of shaking things up was Gaza.  Unfortunately, the main carriers of the seismic energy from that event turned out to be mostly Muslims and Communists (and the Useful Idiots of both, Leftists).  Next in time was Candace Owens, already brewing as someone the Mainstream was implying was an "anti-Semite", intersecting with the Charlie Kirk assassination—with her insinuations of an excessive Jewish component (though she, like most in the still inchoate Anti-Semitic Revival, tended to rivet the framework back to Israel rather than to diaspora Jews).

Then came the infamous Tucker Carlson interview with Nick Fuentes—the first time Nick had been given a platform within 1,000 miles of the Mainstream.  Not that Tucker was entirely Mainstream—but he did have one leg in it, mostly from his years at FOX News, and otherwise from his industrious self-promotion up to that point.  Tucker is just Mainstream enough to arouse the ire of the Mainstream for daring to push against their various narratives.  I don't now whether it's because of his Mainstream side, or what, but he, like 98% of all Normies (who are the majority throughout the West), shows signs of being successfully toilet-trained by the Holly programming that has reigned for the past 80 years.  For all that—manifested, for example, in his Fuentes interview by his numerous protestations anxiously insisting he's not anti-Semitic—the Mainstream still, in various ways (see this for example) over the past few years, have pestered him about his supposed subliminal anti-Semitism.  Also, see this example.  That's a screenshot of a tweet, and you'll see my tweet response below it (as "Probable spam").  That response of mine reflects one of hundreds of observations I've made about the issue over the last 2 or 3 years in various places—observations which someday (perhaps) could be collected, organized, put into the blender of my ongoing analysis, and then published as a book.   

The Anti-Semitic Revival.  An arresting title, if I don't say so myself (it could get me arrested!).

Though the Tucker/Nick event was rather late in the year—October of 2025—it wasn't the cause of the widening of the crack, so much as it was the necessary buoyancy at the right time to expand its already propelling dynamism.  Even before that event, the anti-Semitic activity on social media was burgeoning as never before.  I recall feeling a little sheepish when I first "came out" as an anti-Semite, around early 2023, because hardly anyone around me showed signs of it.  Now, it's almost the reverse (though I would reiterate caution that we not become over-optimistic, as the Mainstream still dominates the West and our world, and they remain enforcers of the 80-year Prohibition, with its vast diverse unofficial army of well-programmed Normies who, I think, still, despite the impression one gets when engrossed in the tunnel vision of social media, demographically dominate the West).  It's almost getting to the point where the red-pilled person who persists in defending Jews will become like the guy in high school in the 1990s who still wears bell-bottom cords.  

I wrote "it's almost getting to the point" because we're living in a curious time where major sociopolitical-cultural change seems to be happening quickly and metastatically—and yet we soberly intuit that the powers that be, including their Mainstream Industrial Complex, outnumber and overpower this incipient movement.

My phrase "the powers that be" harks back to my previous comments, in previous anniversary postings, about a "Cabal".  And the "Cabal" would be a component—certainly, the crucial component—of a larger mosaic which involves "the Mainstream".  One cannot understand what the Cabal means without having a grasp of what the Mainstream means, then rationally construing a relationship between the two.  The irrational conspiracy theorist would simply equate the two.  

The rational conspiracy theorist knows it must be more complicated than that.  For more details on the matter, the reader can supplement his reading of my previous anniversary postings with my substack essays (start with this one.)   Trying to be a rational conspiracy theorist myself, I can admit I don't know the full nature of this Cabal, its extent of power (except to reasonably assume it's not omnipotent), who runs it, whether it's only Jews or mostly Jews, and even whether it exists.  

Cultivating this reasonable agnosticism then helps me navigate the bewildering plethora of rabbit holes out there all feverishly claiming to know the "real truth" about it—where the singular noun "it" quickly turns out to convolve a myriad of layers by innumerable individuals out there difficult to vet, of bewildering facts & interpretations with precious little actual adequate evidence to hold the thousands of "its" together into a coherent whole (much less to help us decide which "it" among those thousands is the "real truth").

So, the long and short of it is that 2025 was the year of the Anti-Semitic Revival—unprecedented in the past 80 years (at least).  Why do I keep saying 80 years?  Because that marks the end of WW2, which marks the beginning of the weaving (I say "weaving" rather than "fabrication" to hedge my rational bets) of the Holocaust Narrative, which was—and continues to be—a powerful component of the prohibition of anti-Semitism, both psychologically and culturally, throughout the entire West. 

I listed various milestones in 2025 on the road to this unprecedented revival. For the first time in my tradition of anniversary postings, I will mention another that lies outside of that timeline—less than one month ago, on January 30, 2026, when Trump's Department of Justice made public 3.5 million pages of Epstein documents.  In just the past approximately 3 weeks, this has given the Anti-Semitic Revival an enormous jolt of energy.  It almost seems to have caused an "outbreak" of anti-Semites, or else they were there already, but came out of the woodwork like a massive infestation of ants or termites you didn't realize were there in such numbers, behind the walls and under the floorboards until you disturbed them.
