Jihad Watch Watch

Readers of The Hesperado are invited to take a look at my new blog, where I have been, of late, redirecting my analytical energies: Jihad Watch Watch.

As the name implies, my new blog is centered around Jihad Watch—specifically, around a critique of the egregious myopia to the problem of PC Multiculturalism evinced by the architect of Jihad Watch, Robert Spencer, and by his right-hand man, Hugh Fitzgerald.

While I have adverted now and again to this myopia here at The Hesperado, I have come to the conclusion that this myopia is unacceptable from individuals such as Spencer and Fitzgerald who claim to be committed to the cause of rallying the West to take rational action against the problem of Islam. Their dereliction of duty in this regard demands attention, and analysis. Thus my new blog.

Messrs. Spencer and Fitzgerald don’t seem to get it. Specifically, they don’t get two monumental facts:

1) PC Multiculturalism is the reason why the West has been unable—and continues to be unable—to rationally analyze, and to take rational action against, the problem of Islam.

2) PC Multiculturalism is a systemic and sociological phenomenon, not merely a matter of individual character flaws and conscious policies.

Getting #1 is worthless if #2 is not also gotten in tandem. While Spencer (unlike Fitzgerald) may sometimes, parenthetically and fleetingly, demonstrate that he gets #1, that awareness is vitiated in the bud by his apparent inability to get #2.
