The Orlando ghazi was a "U.S. citizen"

My dusty old unabridged Webster's dictionary (1913) has probably thousands, certainly hundreds, of words not found in modern dictionaries.  One of them is ghazi, which they define forthrightly (and incorrectly, politically) as:

Among Moslems, a warrior champion or veteran, esp. in the destruction of infidels; a fanatical slayer of infidels.

If we have advanced far enough on the LCPOI (Learning Curve of the Problem of Islam), we readily see that Omar Mateen, who mass-murdered over 50 patrons of the Pulse gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida (with over 50 more wounded, until he was killed by a SWAT team), was a ghazi.

Omar Mateen also was, technically and culturally, a U.S. citizen.  If Jihad Watch comments is any indication of where the Counter-Jihad stands on this, we see a pathetic two or three people standing boldly to state the obvious: that this Muslim murderer's "citizenship" is a charade and that he is (was) a traitor.  An intelligent discussion in good faith could then ensue -- if there were a Counter-Jihad that cares about having such important discussions -- about whether "citizenship" confers some magical quality upon Muslims making them somehow less dangerous than Muslim non-citizens.

I guess the Counter-Jihad has more important things to do...
